Josh accidentally walked into an urban village and was yelled at by a butcher lady on his way home one day. That was the beginning of this project. We revisited Huashiying, the urban village in the CBD of Beijing, a couple more times. We started making collages and writing articles about our experiences and the history of this area. Early 2020, while we were locked indoors for most of the time, we put the zine together.
